Roland Garros review '09

Final summary for Roland Garros'09
Both the men's n women's final was sadly, boring! In fact, the semis was much more exciting than the finals. federer won in straight sets, matching pete sampras's record and Kuznetsova also won in straight sets. Boring! Seriously, without soderling, federer could not have won the roland garros. Oh yar... suddenly thought of one intrerestin part...while watchin e men's final, this man, while holding a swiss flag, charged 2wards federer. that scared the hell out of federer! Funny though. Other than that, nothing much le. Hope nxt year's roland garros would be mch more exciting with simon winning the title!

Wat the hell happened to me?
2dae, i had a terrible headache since afternn. 2wars nite time, it gt worse tat i cried terribly n dad thought that i watched too much tv tat caused the headache. He scolded n i felt worse...and when i really went to puke, he then believed tat i wasnt faking it. I think 2dae's headache was b far, the most excruciating 1. it had caused me to puke mant times 2dae.Thankfully, my maid massaged my neck n head n i felt slightly better. playin tennis 2moro and have been lookin forward to it so i dont wan 2 miss it @ all! Hope i can recover by 2moro!

Midst of French Open '09

French Open- Boon or Bane
French open(a.k.a Roland Garros) was a disaster this year. Most of the top 10 players crashed out of the tournament in the early stages, not only for the men's draw but for the women's draw as well. First casualty from the men's draw was my dear Gilles Simon who tasted defeat due to injury as i have mentioned on my previous draw. The second 1 was a shocker, Novak djokovic, who fell to the hands of someone who have jus defeated simon jus a week or so ago. Then was followed by tsonga, verdasco, roddick and a huge surprise, Rafeal Nadal. Seriously, this year's French Open to me, was a tournament of demise. Most of the 10 players were ousted by lower ranked player. By the quarters only federer, monfils and del potro are left(all of which are within the bottom half of the draw). I am really curious, wat has happened to these players? has fatigue played a part in it?
On the women's draw on the other hand, world no.3 venus was among the 1st casulty of the many top 10 players. The next casualties was followed by elena dementieva, Ana ivanovic, Jelena Jankovic, Victoria Azarenka and Serena Williams. Only survivor left: Safina and Kuznetsova.
Wat a boring French Open but will be lookin forward for the grasscourt season!
